I took the girls to the zoo yesterday (yes, again, shut up. When I grow up, I want to learn how to play the Djembe properly) and Froglet decided to introduce Gaston to me.

Froglet: I met Gaston at the zoo camp. He was born in Quebec, you know. He only understands French.
rainette: Cool! Did you speak French with him?
Froglet *giggles*: you're so silly, mummy!
rainette: ?
Froglet: Look! There he is!
rainette *blinks*

Gaston? Is a HUGE, completely bald marabou stork. Who only understands Québecois, I suppose, since he snubbed me when I tried to speak French to him (Yeah, alright, Parisian French.) Mmmpf. Bloody Québecois.
