Enjoying a rare evening out

Husband and I went out yesterday, on our own, with a couple of friends who had bought tickets to a classical music concert at a silent auction and thought they'd take us out.

We went home to relieve the babysitter, who informed us that everything had gone fine.

Common comment on my girls: "Oh my GOD! Look at these GORgeous girls in their GORgeous matching outfits! SO cute! So Keeee-ute!"

Humpf. They wear matching outfits because Tadpole hates new clothes. She mistrusts them instinctively, for no other reason than their new-ness. She would still wear her winter coat if I let her (she hates the new little jackets I bought for her).

But she WILL wear whatever her sister wears. So.

Those people have no idea how hard it is to find outfits that exist - and are currently available - in both sizes. *sighs*
