Pinatas and loot bags
Jul. 18th, 2004 01:31 pmHappy Birthday, Alyssa! :)
Papy is leaving tonight, so hopefully my life will be back to normal for a while. I'm going to miss him, even though he is a great stander-in-doorways-when-you're-already-late and loser of things.
Froglet went to a birthday party yesterday evening, and when they finally (after many efforts, involving the intervention of an 8-year-old who plays baseball) got the pinata open, I saw many little heads bobbing up and down, trying to get as many toys and sweets as they could. Froglet's little bag looked almost empty compared tro some others, but that's because she had ignored the bulkier toys altogether and concentrated on the sweets. :D I am not surprised. So she happily munched on her sweets during the whole party, until she was down to one, carefully chosen to be suitable for her little sister. :D
This morning I found them sharing the goodies contained in the loot bag. And I commented to Papy that they were adorable with each other, and Froglet had even saved a sweet for her sister yesterday. So we congratulated Froglet for her sharing.
And she said: "yes, I shared with my little sister *proud smile*, but I didn't give her the sweet from the pinata, because she already ate it yesterday." :D
She has impeccable logic, too. I am amazed.
