Halloween with kids!!!

They can't wait. They are standing by the window, and chanting softly "sun, sun, go away" because we said we'd go trick or treating once it's dark outside.

Froglet will be Snow-White, but with VAMPIRE TEETH! (Yay, vampire snow-white!). Tadpole is a leopard. Husband had to do a little sewing, to make sure she can see (cos the leopard's head kept falling on her eyes and she hated it), but now it's perfect.

I have tons and tons of chocolate, of the best kind cos whatever's left we have to eat ourselves, so it might as well be good. I don't know if the neighbourhood kids have realized yet that THIS IS THE PLACE THAT HANDS OUT TOBLERONE CHOCOLATE MINIBARS!!!! If they have, we may get many visitors -- especially since Husband's pumpkins are exquisitely scary. If they haven't -- too bad. With the road-works in our street and the many bulldozers, we might not see many kids tonight. But the Toblerone will be eaten in time, fear not.

We'll be taking turns going trick or treating with the kids, cos fankly, it's a blast. If you don't have a kid, I suggest you borrow one for the night, preferably a small one, because they still oooooh and aaaaaaah at the sight of a bag of chips, or a mini-mars. And it's just so. much. fun.

Toblerone and assorted candy, check. Pumpkins, check, 6, assorted sizes, scary as hell. Costumes for the kids, check.

We're ready.
