Just joking, sort of.

I am not going to be around much in the coming month, cos Husband's cousin is arriving today and staying until october 5th, and then we're going to a wedding :D, and then we have a friend visiting for a week, so basically I'll be semi-gone until October 18th. I'll try to post occasionally, but chances are that I won't be able to keep up with my flist, so please do not be offended if I seem REMARKABLY out of it and unaware of things when I come back. If there is anything important that you think I should be made aware of, please comment or send email :).

Im the meanwhile, I will indeed turn 40. This is a huge mental roadblock, since both times I typed it in this post it turned out WRONG. Once I typed 30 -- which is the age I feel. The second time, I typed 400. "Look! The mummy! The mummy is on El Jay". *sighs* This does not bode well.

Why is it that 40 feels so different? I don't really know yet, ask me when I'm back :D. But for someone who used to laugh at midlife crisis as a concept (when I was very very young), I am remarkably close to having one. *hyperventilates slightly*

OK, I am off to clean the house a little before our visitor arrives. *sighs* Chances are the State of the House will be communicated to my Mother-In Law, so I'd rather make a good impression. *waves good-bye and blows kisses*

I honestly believe you're only as old as you feel*, but it seems as though you've always thought that too, just that reaching a 'landmark' year is always daunting. Happy birfday eeaarrrlllyyyy, and I bet you ten million and two dollars that I'll love you just as much once you're 40 as I do now. Though I'm not so sure bout 400, mummies are a bit scary. Not to be confused with mommies (though some of them are too). :D
