I'm kind of at that "Oh, my parents really don't know everything." stage right now. It's been coming on for awhile now, but this year I've really noticed a serious gap between my knowledge and theirs. It makes me kind of mad, actually. I get so frustrated asking them questions and then receiving an "I don't know" in response--because my mom is just supposed to magically KNOW what the difference between regular biscuits and Southern biscuits are, and my dad is supposed to KNOW what the word protagonist means, because he is and has always been the walking dictionary of my life. It's pretty unsettling, and in my mind it's kind of upsetting the whole hiearchy of the family. I was always the one with the questions, and they had the answers, and suddenly realizing that they don't have all the answers is pretty confusing sometimes. So yeah, it's kinda weird. ^_^() But I know once I get used to it and come into my own as an adult person, that it won't bother me any more. I'll grow out of it. (Which is a relief, because it's very irritating to be irritated. Heh.) I'm really glad things are going well for you and Froglet!
