So, TORONTONIANS. If you haven't seen David Hoffos' Scenes from the House Dream at the Mocca -- why the hell not?

Well, you still have a few days left. Go. Run. FLY. It's totally worth the few bucks-that-you-do-not-have-to-pay-but-may-WANT-to-contribute-anyways-just-to-thank-the-artist.

This is why you should. It's one of my personal favourites, together with... pretty much all of them, really.

In Barnett Newman... well, I saw the exhibition twice, see. The first time, I only saw the bored security guard as he paces aimlesly, twiddles his thumbs and ties up his laces. It was only the second time around that I managed to spot the thief. So -- remember to take your time. Wait for the art thief to walk by with his flashlight, and wait until he discreetly leaves again, with a canvas under his arm.

The whole thing is charming and spooky and just beautiful. You should go!
