I don't know what is going to happen next, but I'll have to clean up this journal seriously tomorrow. Nope, it wasn't a brain stutter. The first entry simply, poof, vanished. So I typed it again.

Poof.

I can see them via the calendar, but entry management seems out of the question right now. I guess I might have to wait until LJ has straightened out whatever is happening to them. Am Not Pleased.

i can still see them both. did you try emptying your cache and then reloading your entries page?

Good idea. Very good idea, because cache was unbelievably full.

However. I closed down explorer, restarted, and I am still at the same point. And annoyed big time.

I know they moved some stuff around this afternoon - I didn't have access to my LJ for awhile, so I'm wondering whether something got screwed up at some point. I really don't get it. Do you see them in your friends view, or if you upload my journal? (In which case I am doing something wrong, and I'm damned if I know. I don't want to ask Husband, because this is my private sekrit journal and I don't really want him to follow what I write - although he probably knows already, I'm not exactly hiding either. Blah, this is just stupid)

good point. i see them in my flist, but not in your journal.

normally when LJ gets confused like that, it clears up within a few hours. are you on the porkchop cluster? (check out http://status.livejournal.org/ (http://status.livejournal.org/), and you can click on a link that'll tell you what cluster you're on.)

OK, I'm going to check that. Thanks for the info - and at least, I know in Them, not me. In the meanwhile - well, y'all will have to endure my whinings twice.

You know, what it actually hilarious is that I used to work as Techsupport in SGML for all of Europe (for a company that, needless to say, no longer exists, but I take no credit/responsibility for that *g*) I'm still good with tags but boy, everything else is rusty as hell.
