Ok. Have warmed the towels. Have warned Mum. Have provided everyone in household with earplugs, except the cat (who knows when to hide and is quite immune to yelling, anyway). Have told the neighbours not to call the cops, whatever they hear. Have promised I would swear in French, anyway.

Am off to have a cold shower.

She doesn't want to go first... My turn. OMG am terrified. Haven't done that for 6 years, and last time was in Rangiroa (near Tahiti), you know: different climate altogether...
