So you toddle over to the site and discover... the only way to make your list "private" is to shell out cash money (or as they put it, "more small donations to the beer fund"). Lovely, ain't it?

Unrelated - I'm not allowed to use lj when I'm at my dad's house. Since your journal isn't friends-locked, I'm still able to read your posts, I just can't comment. No matter if you post a long skit detailing your day or a small quip about life in general, your posts always make me smile or laugh and leave me with a good feeling - a perfect end to my day, something especially appreciated now that school is in session.
