She's back!

la rainette: Did you have a good day?
Froglet: Yes, great!

I was wrong to worry.

la rainette: Did you make new friends?
Froglet: uh-huh, lots! There's one who's really funny!
la rainette: Oh? What's his name?
Froglet: Bobo.
la rainette: Oh. And do you get along along with him?
Froglet: Yes! Well... Not really.

What that hides I do not know. But she's happy right now, so I am, too. She loves her new teacher. She's not with Camille, but she sees her at recess.

And Tadpole? Tadpole is giving me hell. Tadpole is horribly jealous. Her playschool starts Friday, and I believe she will ask me, every day, why it is she isn't going to school yet.

And my mom is leaving tomorrow... *heavy sigh*

i was thinking of asking, this morning, wouldn't she see camille at recess. and then i didn't, because something else occurred to me and my attention span is -- ooh, look at that shiny thing over there!

i'm glad she had a good day. huzzah!

:D Thank you, Fox! Oh yes, she's very happy and bouncy. (Also, I bought her ice-cream, because hey, first day of class, and I panicked this morning because the weather was bad and I though, OMG, I haven't bought any fall clothes for them yet! So now we have all these clothes to go through and try on, and all of a sudden school is the best thing in the world ;) :D )

I worry WAY more than Danae does about stuff. I'm afraid she'll be shy, I'm afraid she'll talk too much, I'm afraid she'll get picked on by the mean kids, I'm afraid she'll be one of the mean kids that picks on others...she just goes on her merry little way and does fine.

I think we feel that if we worry enough, all the things we're worried about won't happen. It's like a protective worry wall, or something.

Glad Froglet had a good day!

That's interesting! I have to say that I do worry, a lot, about my kids - but more about Tadpole (shy, sensitive and tiny) than Froglet, who makes new friends wherever she goes. Oh, I worry abut froglet, too. Just a little less. ;)

:D I did the Birthday party test: among your new friends, is there one you would like to invite to your next birthday party? "Bobo", she said, "because he's so funny!"

So far so good ;)

Yay! I'm so glad to hear that the first day was a success. I hated that I missed the "send Froglet first day wishes" thing. Living at home has made the computer time iffy.
Give her a hug for me and tell her I'm glad she had a good first day. And hug Tadpole and tell her to have a great first day.

Iffy computer time, ack, no fun! I know all about it, what with papy, then mom sleeping a whole month in the computer room.

I hugged the girls for you and they were very happy (they like being hugged, and they think it's very funny when I tell them it's a hug by proxy :D )
