Froglet: MOM!
la rainette: ?
Froglet *sternly*: Spiders are forbidden in our home!
la rainette (who couldn't agree more and will not approach a living spider unless it is in as box, but is curious nevertheless): Why?
Froglet: Because there are no mosquitos in our house, either.
la rainette *cautiously*: Makes sense. Did you see a spider you want to get rid of?
Froglet: YES! *grabs kleenex and marches off*

Wheeeee! My daughter kills spiders for me! :D

And while we waited for Froglet's Erythmics class to be over, Tadpole and I had a coffee and a cookie. Well, I had a coffee. Tadpole had a cookie. Or rather, I had the macadamia nut and the cookie part. Tadpole kept strictly to the chocolate chips.

And then:

La rainette: come on, Tadpole! Time to go get Froglet.
Tadpole *jumps off chair*
la rainette: Do you know where Froglet is?
Tadpole: Yes! She's in Canada.

Which is, strictly speaking, absolutely right.

I drove back with the heating in the car cranked all the way up to "tropical". Yes, am still sick.
Meh.

Awww! *pets poor Rainette*
I hope you get better soon! If my plague of the ear/throat can go away, yours too shall pass.

*hugs* It seems that I am all better after a good night's sleep. Well, my throat and ears still hurt a little, but I think the fever's gone (it better be, because my clever thermometer that reads the temperature in the ear is out of battery, so I'm playing it by, erm, ear this morning - what an awful pun. Anyways, I don't feel feverish, and that is a good sign).

YES! Isn't that wonderful? It's also pretty recent (she's watched her dad do that, I would never approach a spider, so if it weren't for Husband, she'd still go eeep eeeep eeep help whenever she sees a spider.)

I am kind of better. At least, functional :D and hopefully less feverish.
