BULLDOZER!!! BULLDOZER ON MY FRONT YARD!!!
And here I thought a centipede in the sink was bad.
They're redoing all the pipes in our street, so they're basically digging up a dozen holes today. Add that to the dozen they dug yesterday, that's a lot ofpotential hazards for little ones if I start thinking along those lines I'll have a breakdown in half an hour places to hide when playing hide and go seek. *stares at last bit*. bugger that's even worse.
Also, they are giving us the opportunity to replace our plumbing too, at least what goes from the main pipe to our homes, for less money than if we planned it independently ("well, we're here already, and so's the hole. Whaddaya think?") and the neighbour said yes. So now they're drilling a hole in the wall of his garage, which is directly next to our house. VIBRATING WALLS!!! HELP!!!
My driveway is still intact, and smugly looking at me, cos I CAN'T BLOODY GET THERE! *weeps*
On the other hand, if we start a war in the next week, I already have all the trenches I need.

Date: 2004-10-28 06:02 pm (UTC)Are you interested in a BIG LONG BORING post on French politics? actually, a long post on the constitution of the fifth republic, which is absolutely fascinating in itself, so strike the boring :D , but big and long is for sure.
