terrylj , the lovely don't panic icon was gone before I had the time to copy it! Wah!
So. We've had a good week-end. A very busy week end, with scenic routes, wine tasting, prettily lit cities seen from far up, the Niagara Falls seen from deep down (Froglet: "NO! I'm not taking the boat that goes in the shower again!"), and it's been altogether grand.
Husband went to the school presentation thing (I stayed with our guests, who are mainly my friends - not that they don't like Husband, but they've known me for longer that they've known him - quite considerably so since they were the first people to babysit me ever and still fondly remind me of how they gave me a bath when I was 3 weeks old), and the good news is the teacher is to have a full-time assistant in Froglet's class.
In other good news, Froglet is unimpressed with Bobo-the-Terror anyway.
Froglet: Bobo tried to beat me today.
la rainette: WHY? WHAT HAPPENED?
Froglet: We played soccer, I was in Olivier's team, and Bobo was in the other team...
la rainette: yes?
Froglet: and Bobo's team was much bigger than ours...
la rainette: YES???
Froglet: and we won, thirteen nil. And then Bobo wanted to hit me, but I ran ROCKET FAST and he couldn't catch up...
la rainette: Oh.
Froglet *contemptuous* He can't run ROCKET FAST, he's too little. He's not 5 yet, and I am *draws herself up importantly* 5 and a half.
Unimpressed, I tell you. And it's not like she won't meet other sore losers in her life.
In other, less good news, am so tired I can't see straight. *yawns*
