darthrami and strange_selkie are love. As Froglet put it: "I love them too much! I never wanted them to leave again!" We had a wonderful weekend with them, including a wedding, champagne, an injured hand (ack ack ack), some pedalling along Lake Ontario and a ride in the dark with Disco Ball. Oh, and food. I love, therefore I cook.

Tadpole treated Rami to a piece of Typical Tadpolese Cuteness

Rami: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Froglet: a teacher.
Tadpole: a rabbit.

We were at their wedding, HURRAH! I took pictures when I wasn't discreetly wiping my eyes (yes, I cry at weddings, I am a Sentimental Soul).

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Rami's wrist (cos it's not like she can still cross hers, alas.) Until told otherwise, I still hope that it will turn out to be sprained, not broken.

*yawns* Who said only cats and small children were allowed to nap?

Not Broken, per mr. doctor man. Still v. v. painful and fairly useless, but I have an actual wrist brace now, enabling me to move my arm about without too much pain, yay! (official prognosis = bruised bones)

I like the way Tadpole thinks. I was bound and determined to be an otter at one point in my early childhood.

Nap was good, but person who woke me on cell phone? EVIL. *hits on head with hammer* You need to be a FRIEND to be allowed to do that.

When I was a kid, I thought I would grow up to be a responsible adult and a patient parent who knew everything.

In retrospect, a rabbit would have been easier.

(And eek! I thought it was bad when Mr. T.'s aunt broke her hip at our wedding! At least I didn't injure my own self! Good thoughts to darthrami, although I don't know her.)

:D Rabbits have cool lives, especially when they're pets and don't have to fear any predators though they tend to eat electric wires and end up BBQed on your carpet

It was a civil ceremony with just us as witnesses, and she didn't injure herself in the middle of the ceremony, which I suppose should be considered as good, as she told us that she tended to have accidents at major moments in her life. But the church wedding & reception are a month away... and we hope that she won't be walking down the aisle with a cast on her arm.
