Tadpole's Christmas list...

Tadpole gave me her Christmas list tonight. She doesn't really properly write yet, so it all consisted in a series of complicated pictograms that I had to puzzle out with her.

Basically, in short, she wants:

- one skating bag,
- three suitcases/bags, assorted sizes, two of them with wheels (Yes. THREE.),
- one house key,
- one bottle of perfume,
- one Little Pony or Littlest Pet Shop toy. If they make a Littlest Pet Shop Little Pony, that would be even better, she said. Because, thank God, she truly is only six.

Dude. She had me worried there, for a minute.

rainette *sighs*: Tadpole?
Tadpole: mmm?
rainette: What's with all those bags? Do you intend to go live with another family or something?
Tadpole: no, but I needs them. When we TRAVEL, you know?

Ah. Yes, I do know. She truly is our daugther, this little one. :D

I used to have so many littlest pet shops, back before they were CREEPY. This is what they used to look like (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220179169853). The new ones freak me out, but Katie really likes them too.

Oh yes, Tadpole is VERY pragmatic. Like, she wants a key, but it has to OPEN SOMETHING, otherwise it's not worth the hassle. So why not a house key, come to think of it? :D

I too remember the old-style Littlest Pet Shop, before they were all luminous and multi-coloured... And My Little Pony, for that matter. Tadpole is a girl after my own heart! :D

And I am asking for luggage for Christmas too.....
