Kid: my eye hurts so, so bad!
rainette: come with me, let's go to the office

At the principal's office:

Secretary: Oh. You again.
rainette: She says her eye hurts.
Kid: MY EYE HURTS MY EYE HUUUUUUUUURTS
Secretary: which one?
Kid: what?
Secretary: You're holding your left eye now, but half an hour ago it was your right eye that hurt OMG SO BAD, so I am asking you, which one?

The principal's secretary is Jessica Fletcher's kid sister and I am a fool.

They're cute, but dude, do they ever lie well :D. I am a very good liar, myself, and yet I am impressed (though to be a credible liar it is important to be able to tell your left from your right :D )

I had this exact same conversation with my nephew a few weeks ago.

"She hit me!" *clutches left eye*

After a while... "She hit me, it hurts!" *clutches right*
