la_rainetteOK, so about MOTHER'S DAY...
Yes, I realise it was last week. It's just been a really busy and stressful week, and then my workfilter took photobucket away from me. Rawr.
Mother's Day was lovely, including the part where I had breakfast in bed. The girls have become way better at flinging the cup of coffee in my general direction, I have become more adept at catching it before it hits the mattress (it helped that I kept my glasses close-by), and Husband has become more aware that filling the cup to the very top is not a good idea. So no-one got burned. \o/ Also, French croissant and pain au chocolat mmmmmmmm
One shoe box, one small pompom, and about a zillion colourful pipecleaners = one perfect gift box.
They set a few pipecleaners aside to make these: pipecleaner bracelets, made Just For Me by my Tadpole.
Okay, now, THIS is the most disturbing bookmark I have ever owned. I can't decide if it reads my book before I do or permanently eyerolls at me (presumably because of the books I read? I dunno).
It was made for me by Froglet. It's freaking me out as we speak.
Now this made me laugh the hardest, because of this:
Tadpole: We can put it on the Christmas tree!
Froglet: YES! It's a SNOWFLAKE! With a red POMPOM! (pause) It's Randolph the red-nosed snowflake!
And on the Christmas tree it will go, with all the other home-made ornaments we have accumulated over the years (paper Santas! Pipe cleaner Christmas wreaths! Reindeers made entirely out of clothespins and googly eyes!).
And then the week was what it was, and the only good thing I can say about it is that it's OVER. Yay for Saturday!
