It is slightly disturbing that our new phones seemed to be smarter than we are. They take great pictures, recognize all sorts of songs, speak all sorts of languages, interact with FaceBook, tell us where we are (but not yet, alas, how to go elsewhere. Apparently, you have to pay for that).
So far, the thing they do the least well is PHONE. I have yet to find how to correctly place the phone against my head, close enough to understand what people are saying to me, but not too close so as to not touch the "end call" button with my cheek when I smile.
In other news, I took the girls to the dentist today, and they both have ONE teeny tiny cavity, on the exact same tooth, at the exact same spot. I was amazed, the hygienist was amazed, and the dentist was amazed for another reason altogether: Tadpole is only nine, and she's not even supposed to have this tooth yet. I suppose he's forgotten being "officially amazed" when he first spotted her six-year-old molars, when she was FOUR.
So we're going again on Wednesday, to get the twin cavities fixed. Joy.

I kept on having to press "back" on my phone so that I won't accidentally end call when talking to people ^^;;
