la_rainetteYesterday evening I cut myself in the thumb rather deeply as I was slicing tomatoes. This morning, I woke up to find that our great big freezer downstairs had broken down. I just arrived at my school and we have no heating. The heater is Down Again, and our janitor is stuck in Barrie because of the snow. I think he may hate the world even more than I do right this minute.
Today I shall be teaching in my parka and gloves. Well, at least the gloves will protect the cut in my thumb from chalk dust, yes?
Still. I really did not need that on a Monday morning, especially not this week.
