Jun. 15th, 2011 04:19 pmHERE, HAVE SOME ALAIN DELON! :D
This is for
whatistigerbalm, who likes Alain Delon, and for everybody who likes beautiful voices.
Véronic Dicaire is a franco-ontarian singer and imitator; in this video, she imitates Véronique Sanson, Patricia Kaas, Lara Fabian and Edith Piaf, and frankly, until I saw this I did not believe it could be done (these women have very different voices. It takes a sensational singer to pull this off).
But it's watching Alain Delon watching her that really makes this video for me. Seeing him go from moderately intrigued to rather impressed to kid-in-a-candy-shop-happy to barely able to contain his emotions: priceless.
If you don't want to listen to all the talk in French, you can skip the first 30 seconds and go straight to the singing, but you really should listen to her, she is fabulous and her imitations are spot on. (Oh, and yes. Véronique Sanson, the first singer she imitates, really DOES sound a little like a lost baby goat when she sings.)
