Dear Italian Teenagers Riding the Rocket next to me,

You are currently on a subway. The subway is not terribly stable. May I suggest that you hold onto something else than your giggling friend for balance? Because this thing here on my lap is a box of utterly, utterly fabulous macarons. And if you accidentally sit on them, I will bite you.

No love,
Rainette

In other words, I went to Nadege's today (check out their site, it's amazing! I cannot watch Le Film without drooling) and their salted caramel macarons are pure unadulterated bliss.

Waving hi, found your post through network surfing. Those are excellent looking macarons. Just yum.

One of the shops in my very favourite neighbourhood street in Utrecht had AMAZING macarons that they made fresh EVERY DAY. To die for.

ARE YOU IN PARIS? Dude, have you been to Ladurée? Ladurée and Pierre Hermé? :D I mean, don't get me wrong, these were fabulous, but.... Ladurée and Pierre Hermé rule the macaron world, really.

I quite literally just brought some home from La Duree. I glared heavily at everyone who chanced to even slightly bump into me on the bus! :D

My only regret is that after buying two boxes as gifts I was too poor to buy anything but a little bag for myself... meaning no pretty box for me! :(

OH NOES! D: Yeah, I know, they're REALLY expensive, but honestly... they're just the best. I am very bitter that Ladurée has shops in Sweden and SAUDI ARABIA and none in Canada.

(I hear their Sekrits are heavily protected and you have to sign confidentiality agreements when you go work for them. I suppose that if you ever decide to quit they send you professional hit men or something. ... Or maybe I just shouldn't have watched that Bourne movie after all. :D )

It's been six years since I've been in Canada, and that's far too long!
