Ash Wednesday

I work at a Catholic school so we do have the occasional religious celebration, but since I am not THAT good a Catholic, to be honest, the kids in my class sometimes don't know what to do, or we forget to pray before lunch, stuff like that.

ANYWAYS. Today is Ash Wednesday.

Me *makes cross with ash on kid's forehead*: Change your heart and believe the Good News.
Kid: Amen.
Me *move on to next kid*: Change your heart and believe the Good News.
Kid: Amen.
Me *move on to next kid*: Change your heart and believe the Good News.
Kid: Okay!

Well, okay then!:D

Give nothing up -- like a friend of mine says, sin exits through the mouth, not enters. One should just be mindful not to slag people off, and that already makes for a happier world.
