la_rainette | Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

I don't have anything negative to say about it for the moment, I honestly don't. I may have smart things to say about it in a while, possibly, but right now I am so full of feels (ALL THE FEELS) that I don't even WANT to criticize it. I vaguely saw that people are frustrated that it brings nothing new, that it relies heavily on existing Harry Potter mythology, but I really do not care, I didn't need or want anything new, I just wanted to be brought back to the Harry Potter Universe.

Even Tadpole's cat noticed my abundance of feels - he never sits on people's laps (and certainly not mine, since I officially belong to his worst enemy) but this afternoon he just came over for a snuggle and stayed for an extra long siesta. I dunno, I must have smelled extra welcoming, I suppose :D

Harry Potter is the reason why I am here: it was through Harry Potter fandom (whose existence I hadn't even suspected until I goggled "Remus Lupin" in 2003 and accidentally stumbled upon it - I had no idea fandom was a thing, basically. Shut up, I am sure many of you have a similar story) that I discovered LJ. It was within Harry Potter fandom that I met many people who became real friends.
